How Queues Work
A queue is a virtual waiting line. Customers join by scanning a QR code, which opens WhatsApp. The system collects their preferences (seating, party size) via interactive messages, then places them in line.
**Queue Types**
- Walk-in: Customer is physically present
- Virtual: Customer joins remotely
**Multi-Level Queues**
Queues can have 'flow steps' — a series of choices. For example: Choose seating area (Indoor/Terrace) → Choose party size (2/4/6). Each combination routes to a specific child queue.
**Queue Status**
- Open: accepting customers
- Paused: temporarily not accepting (existing customers still served)
- Closed: no longer accepting or serving
