Connecting WhatsApp

NXTN uses the WhatsApp Cloud API. Your business shares a platform number managed by NXTN.

**How It Works:**
When a customer scans your QR code, it opens WhatsApp with a pre-filled message. NXTN receives this message via the Cloud API, identifies which venue the customer is contacting, and handles the conversation.

**Customer Triggers (uppercase, anywhere in WhatsApp):**
- **BOOK** — open the booking menu / list available services
- **BOOK:{code}** — jump straight to a specific booking service
- **CREDITS** — show balance, recent activity, and a one-time QR to pay at the counter
- **ORDER:{ticket}** — link a paid order to the customer for pickup notifications
- **VALET:{ticket}** — link a parked car to the customer for summon notifications
- **STATUS** — aggregated view of every active queue, order, and valet ticket the customer has open
- **english** / **عربي** — switch the customer's WhatsApp language preference

**Business Verification:**
For WhatsApp Flows (interactive form overlays), Meta requires your business to be verified. Until then, the multi-step button flow works for all customers.

**Message Templates:**
Admins can manage WhatsApp message templates under Communication → Message Templates. New templates must be submitted to Meta for approval.
